Travel Banter is an upcoming non-profit Octopath Traveler 2 fanzine that will be accepting artists, writers, and potentially other contributors (recipe/cosplay/crafts/etc). This zine is SFW as no explicit content will be featured. No content beyond a PG-13 rating will be featured, though canon-typical mature themes will be allowed and may be featured in some works.

Zine Specs
The exact number of contributors will be determined by the number of applicants and guests who accept our invitation. This will also determine the page-length of the final product.This zine plans to be in both physical and digital format. We tentatively plan for the physical book to be 5.5” x 8.5” Perfect Bound.
Zine Rules
The primary language of this zine is English. All content that is intended to be read must be in English.
Only characters appearing in Octopath Traveler 2 will be featured in zine content. Original characters or characters from other games in the franchise are permitted solely as cameos, for plot necessity (written content), or backgrounds (illustrated content).
All content will be never-before-seen, published for the first time in Travel Banter.
All content must be created by zine participants. No external or AI art is permitted.
Charity
Once mods and contributors have been accepted, a charity organization to receive all post-production-cost proceeds from the zine will be chosen by popular vote.

| What is a zine? | Zines (fanzines) are community-led magazines, either digital and/or physical, which are usually organized online by people in a shared fandom. They are publications similar in nature to magazines and typically compile fanart, fanfiction, and other fanmade materials from different contributors. Physical releases may also include fanmade merch. Physical releases are often limited time offers. |
| How will mods keep in contact with contributors? | Mods will stay in contact via a specialized Travel Banter Discord server. It is the responsibility of contributors to regularly check in with Discord or set up alternate communication with mods. Failure to do so may result in removal from the project. |
| Will this be a physical or digital zine? | Depending on the results of the interest check, this could be either a digital or physical zine. Tentatively, it is planned for this to be a physical release. |
| Will there be merch? | This will also be determined officially by the interest check, but it is planned to include physical merch. |
| How much will the zine cost? | This will be determined by estimated production costs, though we will do our best to find a middle ground for everyone. At this time, the zine will only be free if it is a digital-only release. |
| Can ships be included? | At this time, we would like to avoid work that is obviously shippy. However, art that can be read as ship or non-ship art is welcome to be included. |

| Can I apply for multiple roles? | Yes, but please be aware you may only be accepted for one role depending on the number of applicants. |
| Will contributors receive a zine? | All contributors will receive a free digital zine, as well as a physical zine assuming all necessary costs are met. Additional merch will be available at production cost, but we would ideally like to provide a full bundle to contributors. |
